East Kent Freemasons Bat and Trap

Manor of Faversham entered a team into the East Kent Bat and Trap tournament held at the Farriers Arms. There were a total of around 16 teams entered and were placed into groups of four. After a sluggish start, losing the first match, Manor of Faversham found their groove and finished second in their group. Unfortunately, this was not enough to see them through into the knock out stages but was a sterling effort regardless.
MoF team comprised of three members Tony, Robin G and Glyn and their wives (who were far more competitive!) all of whom were beginners in the art of bat and trap. They were well supported by their young children and grandchildren. This was a fabulous day out for all the family, a well stocked bar and a BBQ all in the name of charity. The organisers made a fantastic effort to cater for the children by including free sweets and a mini bat and trap set to keep them occupied!!
